Have you made the choice?

So you see when we speak about being saved, it means that God wants to save us from ourselves, from his proclaimed eternal punishment, which he cannot change, because God will not deviate from his own Character. John tells the followers of Christ….

Joh 14:1 ¶ Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. (Jesus)

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

It’s hard to overcome a total denial of God’s existence, to lay down that deep seeded anger which builds up in the human psyche, which says, “no one is going to tell me what to do!” God knew that when he came up with this plan, the only way to salvation would be to let go. Let go of yourself, let go of your anger, let go of your desire, let go, and trust….Trust in a plan that you cannot see, that you cannot smell, that you cannot feel, that makes no sense to you at all. God has been saying it for Millennia.

Ro 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Mt 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Mt 9:36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

I find it interesting that the general public will readily accept the concept of a great and powerful force that binds together the universe, but they wont accept the face that a real God created the entire universe, and we can really interact with him, through the set out plan that he laid out for us!

That’s it folks, this is the very basics, The question is, are you willing to accept God’s plan?

Remember Sincerity means everything, repeating some words that sound good, isn’t the answer. You must honestly mean what your saying.

Ps 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Ps 145:18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

Mr 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Ro 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Imagine that you are drowning, and you can see someone that can help, how would you call out to that person to save you?

This is the answer, only honest, broken hearted crying out to God will do, Only because your salvation is his gift, God will not bend to dishonesty, He desires your honest, heart felt, surrender, so that he can take control, and show you the great things he has planned for your life!

Ask God to save you, confess the sin in your life, all those things you can think of that that are wrong, and see if God will not carry out his promises.

Mt 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

And please if you have questions about being saved, let us know! We’ll be glad to try to help.
