A DISCLAIMER, Please read first.
By Grady E Lee, BA, MA, ThB
Having started from where I started and under varied difficult circumstances, I am very grateful to my Lord and savior for my accomplishments and achievements. Having been born near the beginning of the Great Depression, literally in the boondocks near the banks of the Red River in Oklahoma, I grew up in the home of a sharecropper, where such a life helped mold me into an analytical and common sense individual.
Yet, it seem to everyone, at least so I was told, that I could do nothing right. In my public school years, had a vote of my peers been taken, I would have been voted the most “unlikely” to succeed. My only break during those years was, that about age 10, I gave my heart and life to Jesus Christ and it meant more then, and today, 66 years later, than anything else. Very shortly thereafter I began studying, quietly on my own, for the ministry. Graduating at barely 17 years old in 1950, I enrolled in a small, (church operated) Bible school, graduating in 1953. Still being very shy, backward, and unmarried I entered Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1953 and graduated in 1956. In January of1955 I met my one and only, Royce Lena Ham, and in August of that year we married. Today we have four children, eight grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren.
Writing in a copacetic reading form, has never been my forte. But, I have never lacked for ideas, common sense concepts, and the doing of my own research through consistent independent thinking and evaluation. But putting my thoughts on paper in a proper writing form, with proper spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure, has been and is, impossible for me. Somehow the neural pathways of my brain has never permitted such and I have never been able to reprogram these pathways. I have completed far more undergraduate and graduate hours in English grammar than is necessary for qualification to teach the subject in public schools, but the problem has not changed.
As you read my writing, you will find much information of which you probably have not have been aware. The purpose of the treatises written is to explain and clarify many confusing religious concepts, doctrines, plus the principles expounded by Jesus. It will Reveal and emphasize where man has placed his own preconceived ideas and preferences upon God’s Word. This information was not taught me. I had to research and do my own analyzation to find the truth. The information you will receive is well worth the difficulty found in reading the writers composition. Would you please re-read any difficult passages to try to understand and grasp the concept presented. Please excuse any poorly written sentence structure. Occasionally a word has a letter missing or even sometimes might have a word missing from a sentence. Use your reading ability to grasp what the writer may have inadvertently left out.
May God Bless you as you Study |
